I didn't quit on my project, in case you were wondering.  I was just out of town for a few days without access to my computer.

We went to Natchitoches to visit family and meet our new nephew.  These are from the first day there...

And this homeless child I picked up while I was there.  LOL.  She had a blast playing outside at Nana's and Poppy's.  Her expression + the dirt made for a priceless picture.

Project 355 - Day 52

When we are not feeling well, or if Landry does something to "hurt our feelings", she tries to make amends by offering us one of her stuffed animals, "Awww, Daddy, here's an animal.  You feelin' better Daddy?"

Someone fought her nap today.....but after her lying her in bed for an hour and a half, I decided to be gracious and let her sit and read books.

I started out my day in the country with two sweet couples....

 Then we went to birthday parties.....

 We ended the night with some moonlight .  LOL

Today was a busy, but great day.  It started out with a  photo shoot of two totally cute kids, but before they arrived, the park rangers helped me spot this owl:

Then we went to the lakefront to have a picnic, fly kites, fly babies, and climb trees :)

GiGi is here, which means fun for EVERYONE!!!!  She plays tirelessly with the kids...

She brings her fun new creations, like this sassy little outfit.....

And she makes it possible for me to do photo shoots with my kids in busy downtown.  This is a sneak peek of Eli's one-year-old shoot.

Welcome Baby Mason

We are so excited to welcome our first nephew to the world!  Mason Kale was born Sunday, February 13, weighing 8 lb. 2 oz. and measuring 19 inches long.  We are so anxious to see him in person!!  We will be headed to Natchitoches next week :)  You'll be seeing more pictures of this little one, I promise!

Today is Valentine's Day......

Both of my kids had identity crises today.

Apparently, they were dogs today.  Landry said "Mommy, I'm in Saban's castle!"

Eli got a haircut today.  That means the faux-hawk is back.....

....at least for today.  Tomorrow it will probably be too long again.

I got to spend the morning with this lovely family....

 Then when I got home, I found Landry reading a book.  Apparently, this was the most comfortable spot she could fine.

 And later, Landry and Eli made beautiful "music" together.
