A Rare Sighting
They're sitting nicely together and it's actually quiet. What do the Einstein puppets know that I don't?

Project 355 - Day 33
Today, Landry is feeling under the weather.....
But she received a special Valentine's package that perked her up for a few minutes....Eli, on the other hand, was a wild man. Take a look at that face and hair. He must be up to something....
I Thought Well Visits Were Supposed to Be Easy
Landry had NEVER been a good patient. From the time, she was 4 months old, when the doctor would leave the room and the nurse would enter in, she'd start screaming. Call me crazy, but I swear she knew that shots were coming. When she started walking, we'd get to the door of the office, and she'd turn around and start running. She rarely has to go to the doctor because she's a very healthy child, so she hasn't had a chance to really get used to it, I guess.
Well, her 3-year-old well visit was Monday, and I thought I would try to prepare her. We talked about her doctor, Dr. "Mulake" (Mula). We talked about what they would have to do. She was very familiar with all of it because she has a doctor's kit herself. She was all set and ready to go, and she was going to be a big girl!
We got to the doctor's office and waited.....
and waited.....
and waited......
Finally we were called, and you'll notice I have no more pictures. That would be because I was too busy holding down my daughter. The nurse asked her to stand on the scale, she screamed bloody murder, while holding her ears. She asked her to stand against the wall to get her height, same response. The whole office personnel was staring. One even said, "Goodness! All that for weight and height?" Great! My daughter is THAT patient. Of course, the actual examination wasn't any better, and come to find out, she still had to have two vaccinations. I thought we had none this visit!!! Lovely morning, I tell you. However, we did survive.
In case you're wondering....Landry is on target, in the 50th percentile for weight (32 lbs) and 25th percentile for height.
