It's been 3 months....

It's the first day of November, and I am stuck in the house due to yucky weather and sick children.  They are finally resting now, and I have tons of chores to do. But posting about our August sounds like more fun.  So here goes:

The first few days of August were spent with sweet (and adorable) friends....

...and a few silly shenanigans.

But soon the shenanigans had to stop, because it was BACK TO SCHOOL!!!


Well, maybe there was time for a few more shenanigans in the library :)

We celebrated our first day Dr. Seuss style, which was oodles of fun! :)

One of our favorite things about this school year so far, is our Synergy group.  We collaborate with two other families each week, who are using the same curriculum as us.  It's motivation for mommies and kids alike, plus we do some pretty cool projects!

And on many beautiful August days, you could find us outside learning and taking in all of God's awesome creation.
