Family Time

Living away from family is tough.  It seems like we never get enough time with them.

Each moment with them is cherished.

Thankfully, we've gotten to spend these very special moments with them lately:

A cousins camp-"in"...

A celebration for Nana's Birthday...

A mother/daughter getaway...

And a wonderful welcome home reception from my sweet children...

A relaxing weekend at Nana and Poppy's (where throwing rocks and water gun fights were all the rage)...

Of course there is always the obligatory attempted photo shoot, which was not looking too promising at first.

But, there was some improvement as time went on...

...and eventually we got a successful shot of all four cousins smiling.  Yipee!!!

We thought that was deserving of a crawfish boil....

 ...and another water fight, of course.

A quick trip to Subway to end our time together...

and a nice ride home .

Now, although all these moments with family were very memorable and special, none can compare to this one incredible day in April when my daughter demonstrated her faith in Christ, by being baptized in front of our Church.

Not only is she my daughter now, but she is my sister in Christ.

That gives the word FAMILY a whole new meaning.
