My parents have a special event at their house, almost every Fall, called the Harvest Hoedown. There is food, games, treasure hunts, a huge bonfire and we anticipate it for months! This year we were particularly excited about it, because we did not have it the previous year and the kids were all perfect ages to enjoy the special event. Imagine our disappointment when my Dad got an injury and they were forced to cancel the big event. The kids were broken-hearted!
Well, GiGi and PawPaw could't have their grandbabies being broken-hearted so, instead, they brought the Harvest Hoedown to us (on a slightly smaller scale). They also brought my niece and nephew with them and we had a shin-dig in our front yard!
