The Party

Can you guess the theme for Landry's Party?

We were so excited to throw her a birthday party this year.  Since we live closer to our families now, we could give her a birthday party at our house.  Also, we've met lots of great friends here with children who are close to our children's ages, so it made for a perfect little party.

I'm sure you gathered from the picture that our theme was Princesses and Pirates.  Girls got princess skirts, tiaras, earrings, and rings to wear.  Boys got hats, swords, hooks, and eye patches.  They all looked ADORABLE.  We gave our princesses manicures and pedicures, while our boys received mustaches and whiskers.  Dressed to impress, we took their pictures for which they made frames.  On the menu was kid favorites, such as: pb&j, mini corn-dogs, chips and dip, cheetoh balls, and pretzels, oranges and bananas.  To drink was pink lemonade for the princesses and Hawaiian Punch for the pirates.  Finally, we sang happy birthday, Landry blew out the candles on her princess cake (made especially for her by mommy), and she opened gifts.  Everyone was so gracious!
