Each morning, when the kids woke up at the resort, they found a letter and a souvenir from Mickey and Minnie. On Day 4, they read that we'd be going to Epcot.
Once again, our little squad arrived to the park early, so we could ensure a seat on one of the coolest rides ever...
TEST TRACK!!!
We designed our car, then it took us for a spin at speeds of up to 65 miles and hour. Definitely a rush! And as you can see, our little thrill-seeker was having the thrill of a lifetime.
After Test Track, the big kids and I went on a mission to space, while Cory and the Coopster spent a little time together.
Then we all went to the Seas with Nemo and Friends and Turtle Time with Crush. Landry was brave enough to ask Crush a question, a pretty good if you ask me! Check out the video below.
We finished talking with Crush, just in time for lunch at the Akershus Banquet Hall. It was located in Norway, at the World Showcase of Epcot. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the lovely Princess Belle.
And as we ate, we were visited by several other well-know Disney princesses.
However, we had still not met two of our favorites! Thankfully, they reside in Norway too, so we headed straight to their house after lunch.
Gosh, I never get tired of seeing these group hugs. All of the characters know how to give REAL hugs. This must me one of the reasons Disney World is known as the happiest place on earth. Hugs can fix anything! :)
Now, Anna is my favorite of the of the Frozen sisters. I just love her spunk and zeal for life! But Cooper made it clear who his favorite was when he serenaded her with his very own rendition of "You Are So Beautiful"
And although he embarrassed his big brother, it was obvious he melted Elsa's "frozen" heart!
One last stop in Norway, to ride the brand new Frozen Ever After ride.
I was on the ride, but it would seem I have vanished into clear air in this picture. LOL Looks like a pretty intense moment on the ride, so perhaps I had just ducked.
We decided to take a tour of the other countries in the World Showcase. We didn't spend a lot of time in each country, but it was fun seeing all the architecture, design styles and how each country celebrated the holidays
Because I was not a very good photographer this day, I will borrow some of Disney's photos to give you an idea of the beauty that surrounded us.
Of course there was one country we HAD to spend a little more time in:
Paris, France
Landry dreams of going there one day, and I hope that dream comes true for her. But for now, she was tickled pink just visiting the showcase, eating French pastries, and seeing the replica of the Eiffel Tower.
She even found a friend ;)
When we finally finished touring the World Showcase, we decided we'd try to find a few more "celebrities", but not before a couple of family pictures.
(I feel like these might end up on akwardfamilyphotos.com)
We tried to teach Mickey how to dab, but his arms were a little too short!
He's better at hugs :)
And we had to get a picture of these two Snaggle-Tooths together.
Cooper thought we needed to pull on our ears every time we saw Goofy
Twinsies! (Sort of)
We ended our day by meeting some of Epcot's newest characters: Baymax, Joy, and Sadness
but
where's Cooper?
There he is!!
It was an Epic Epcot Day! :)
