In case you can't tell, this is her reennacting her sleep…..
Well lookie there! Sleeping Beauty has awaken from her deep sleep, and not a single hair is out of place.
And she is excited about getting to wear some of her princess make-up as well.Daddy gave her a little help evening her eyeshadow out.
And just where was she going that required all this "frou-frou"?
Animal Kingdom, of course!
We were really anxious to go on one with REAL animals! And Lan had prayed that all the animals would be alive, so we were sure we'd get to see some good ones!
We played bongos in the Street!
And saw the Tree of Life, which was breathtaking!
We had to ride it separately so one of us could stay with the kids. Luckily, there was a camera to capture our wonderful expressions while on the ride. As you can see, Cory was "Too Cool for School"
I, on the other hand, had my mouth wide open the entire time. Check out the face of the little girl in front of me!
This ride was awesome!!!
Lunch was at an African restaurant, The Tusker House.
Eli loved the African foods! He had been dying for a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich!! ;)
Daisy kept batting her mile-long eyelashes at my man. How was I supposed to compete with that?!
Never thought I'd see her smiling about holding giraffe poop. She held elephant poop too!
A little spin on the Triceratops at the end of our day.
As we were preparing to leave, Landry started to panic. She had not seen Pocahontas! Suddenly we were sprinting through the park, trying to find the Indian Princess. When we finally stumbled upon her, she was leaving. However, she didn't leave without striking a quick pose for us...
….and giving out hugs :)
Perfect way to end our day at Animal Kingdom!
You see, Animal Kingdom closes earlier than any of the other parks. But did we turn in early?
No way, Hosea!
We headed back to Magic Kingdom to watch the Electrical Parade. Most of us got to watch it the first night, but while we were waiting for it to begin, Eli had fallen asleep in my lap and missed it! We loved it so much, we had to go back to let him see it.
Their faces beamed as each brightly lit float passed by. I tried to capture just a little glimpse of the magic in this video.
And then a fight broke out. Brothers and sisters….
